This should be viewed just as a suggested route, it can be followed closely, or equally can be adapted to suit as required, it’s up to you.

We have however added a couple of recommended stop off points for dining and accommodation for consideration. A hearty breakfast at the Maryculter House Hotel would set you up nicely to start your adventure, a light lunch at the Grampian Transport Museum could keep you going for the afternoon.

Although with an early start it would be possible to cover this route in one day, we feel that a 2-3 day option would do it proper justice. The route has been split into 2 sections, the first ending at the lovely and recommended Achray House Hotel beside Crieff.

Nested on the banks of Loch Earn this Hotel offers a two AA rosette culinary experience in lovely surroundings, rooms with loch views, and a self-catering lodge is also available. A great stop off point if you’re splitting the tour into 2-3 days.
